This is a feature request for DSLR Binning.
DSLR’s are getting higher and higher megapixel count, rendering some plate solve programs unbearable slow.
In astrometry you can downsample before solve begins so you can somewhat avoid this … but others become really slow, like platesove2.
So it would actually be nice if the BIN field in platesove would work with DSLR’s as well, in my case I even would need bin 4x4 …
Another benefit is that bayer matrix artefacts will be less of an issue.
