Files to save prior reformatting the PC

Hello,
I want to reformat my pc.
My question is: Which files needs to be saved and to be restored, to keep the configuration intact (control panel configuration, Equipment profils, User profiles, Options …) ?

Go to Tools, Sequence Generator Options… find out where your ‘profiles’ folder is and back that up. Then, put it back. Same goes for any sequences you need.

Michel,

If you are using PHD2 for guiding, you can save and restore your equipment profile(s). Open the Connect Equipment window, click Manage Profiles, Export. You’ll need to export the profiles one at a time, then import them after you install PHD2 on the reformatted PC.
