Flats Docking Module and Point to Zenith

Hello

When I do flats I have to pause the sequence (or do it at the end), point my scope to the zenith and use a white t-shirt and an iPad over the objective. To do this I have to manually enter the zenith coordinates via EQMOD; perhaps it would be useful to have a “Point To Zenith” button somewhere in SGP to make this process quicker. I often do flats last thing before I go to bed, then resume the sequence to let it run for a while longer.

In fact, a docking module dedicated to flats would be great. I understand how to use the Flats Wizard, which includes adding flats and pauses to an existing sequence, but I think a docking module for flats would be better again. A manual option to do flats a time of your choosing, point to zenith, then resume the sequence.

Also, could we please have a dropdown option in the “Type” column to include Dark Flats. This method is becoming very popular with CMOS users like me, who use them instead of Bias frames.

Cheers
Mark
