I can see pretty soon I am probably going to have to buy a new laptop and would like to transfer SGPro from my current laptop to my new laptop when the time comes. How do you do this? Is it just download the program again to the new laptop or just copy the program from current laptop to new laptop?

you’ll need to login to mainsequencesoftware.com and manage your licenses. Delete the one for the laptop you’re leaving. When you get the new laptop, download SGP onto it, then in the help menu in sgp on that machine, choose register machine. You are allowed three installations per purchase as I understand it.

Download SGP, install it and register the new version as Paul mentioned.
If you’re wondering about copying profiles and such you can move the files located here:
C:\users%username%\AppData\Local\SequenceGenerator\Sequence Generator Pro
To the same directory on your new machine. Or if you use multiple machines you can point SGP to use Dropbox or a network share in the Tools>>Options>>Profile Directory
