If after SGP plate solves the image that was imputed from the framing and mosaic wizard, you move it slightly to frame it with your mounts hand controller, will SGP input the new coordinates for the meridian flip.
Only if you update the target coordinates. When SGP does the flip it will attempt to get back to the target.

Best option would be to right click on the image after you’re happy with the framing and perform a plate solve. When the solve is complete SGP will give you the option to set the current solve as one of your targets.
