Nikon D750 not working (connects ok, no shutter)

Hi

on both WIndows XP and 8.1, both latest stable and latest beta, Nikon D750 doesn’t work. It connects, but when trying to shoot it is stuck and log says

Any solution to this? If not how can I ask for refund? The same camera works on both operating systems on Backyard Nikon and digicamControlPro (and obviously in the native Nikon software like Camera Control Pro etc.)

I did some more tests, and I found SGP having an issue with changing the shutter speed.

Basically if I take anything more than 30s, your log says you use BULB, and it works:

But obviously is not good for framing as I cannot have 31 secs as minimum epxosure time!

if anything less than 31s then log says what I posted earlier, it seems you try to switch to other shutter mode than BULB and it fails.

Could you please try using always BULB mode for any shutter time (and so opening and closing the shutter by USB) so I can test this? I remember in the past developer of DigicamControl had same problem with my old D90 and we solved this way.

Otherwise I’ll have to ask for refund Cannot use 31s as minimum shutter time…

If the camera is not recognized by the CameraWindow software, please check whether any of the following cases may be a remedy to the problem.
The supported software version may differ depending on the camera you use and the operating system installed on the computer.
When using a camera or computer that differs from the model used initially, please download the supported version of CameraWindow. Versions of the CameraWindow for a variety of cameras/operating systems can be downloaded from the Canon homepage.

If still you face same issue then try advanced troubleshooting methods given in Nikon D750 Manual.
