When something goes wrong/unexpected, there are notification via GNS and email (which are great when you have network connectivity). How about an audible alert through the computer’s sound system (laptop built-in speakers). This would work better in remote areas without a network.

can I second this request.
Whilst the notification system is fine if you have net access I only use a LAN in the field so some form of sound alert for say manual filter changes etc, would be very useful.
I have managed to get and “end of sequence” sound alert but cant get them for “in-sequence” prompts.
