Slew fails Invalid RA coordinate

Greetings,

I seem to be having issues with slews abruptly stopping when kicking off a sequence. I kick off a sequence. The slew to object starts. Scope begins slew and abruptly stops. SGP reports something serious has happened error. I will tell it to try again two or three times then the sequence works as intended and scope will complete slew and imagining will begin. This happens with 2.6.0.23 and 2.6.0.24. Currently using the beta.

The error occurs using different methods of entering coordinates for targets, using FMW, populating coordinates from Astrobin link or manually entering them.

I have no problems with gotos and slews using SkyX or Astroplanner.

I have a Losmandy G11 G2 using ASCOM Gemini.net drivers version 1.0.07.0.

Link to Dropbox with logfile…
Error can be found at [07/11/17 21:38:08.230] and reports “Invalid RA coordinate”

Thank you so much for your time and help! I really enjoy SGP!

John

The error is coming from the Gemini driver. It looks as if the Ra coordinate - 13h41m is giving the driver or mount trouble. There may be a Gemini log file that gives more information, or try the Gemini forums or support.

SGP seems only to be the messenger.

Hello Chris,

Thanks for taking a look at my log file and for your feedback. I will look
into the gemini.net driver side of things and see what I can figure out. I
was hoping maybe it was a configuration problem on my end with SGP. The
reason I was thinking this is because all of the other platforms I use to
issue slews to mount work fine. The issued slew goes off without a hitch
and the scope centers on the target with no errors.
