Hi there. Hopefully a simple solution to this, but here goes.
If I use FMW to set up and frame a 1 part image and take subs in the usual way. If at a later date I want to use this image as part of a mosaic how do I get it back into FMW and build a mosaic around it? (Still being able to use the 1 part image subs as one part of the mosaic). Hope this makes sense and Look forward to feedback. Thanks.
In the F&M wizard there is an option to use an image to fetch the target area. Just use that option and choose an image you have already taken of the object in question. As long as the image has RA and DEC info in the fits header it will create a canvas with that image as the center, then you can re-draw the mosaic.
If that doesn’t work you can manually enter the original RA and DEC coordinates in the wizard, which will give you the same canvas as above.
