Apologies if there is already a way to do this… When using T3i DSLR I could write out ISO value as part of the filename.
But using ASI1600MC-C, I would like to write out the Gain/offset that the sensor was configured as when writing the FITS file. This would help greatly to avoid incorrectly mixing the wrong calibration files with Lights (SGP can output the binning setting which helps, and many other values – but it would help to make sure I’m not mixing high gain 200/50 offset calibration files with broader 0 gain/10 offset data).
Sometimes for Frame and Focus, I set the camera to a higher Gain, to help check focus in less time (or adjust the frame). Then sometimes I forget to change it back when I start a Sequence.
